Make Your Christmas Gift for Neighbors

Whether you decide to gift a premade Chex Mix or make your own, the first step to putting this easy Christmas gift for neighbors together is to put the Chex Mix in a jar. You can use any size or style of jar for this cute gift. I used a small pint-sized mason jar to create my neighbor gift with a Chex Mix gift tag.

To make your gift a little more festive, add a cute lid topper to the jar before you put the lid ring on. To make this easy lid topper, just trace around the top of the mason jar lid on a piece of decorative scrapbook paper. Then, glue the paper in place on top of the jar lid. Place the lid on top of the jar and screw the lid ring into place.

Then, finish putting the gift together by attaching the tag! I love this red and white twine for this gift because it matches the red and white stripes on the gift tag. But you can use any ribbon or twine you want to attach the tag to the jar. Just punch a hole in the corner of the tag, thread the twine through, and secure the ribbon with a bow.
