How to Make Turkey Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

Cranberry sauce and cream cheese spread

The first (and most important in my opinion) step to making these delicious turkey sliders on Hawaiian rolls is to make the cranberry spread. Simply add softened cream cheese and cranberry sauce to a bowl and mix until they’re combined. You can use leftover cranberry sauce or just buy a new can of it to mix with your cream cheese.

Next, open your package of Hawaiian rolls and slice the entire loaf in half down the middle. I suggest using a large serrated knife to cut the bread to keep the bread from getting torn and squished as you cut.

After cutting the loaf, lay out the top of the loaf on the counter or a cutting board and spread your cranberry sauce spread over the top of the entire loaf. Set it aside for a second while you prepare the rest of your turkey sliders.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bottom half of your Hawaiian roll loaf on top of the paper. Top the loaf with pieces of leftover turkey. Make sure each roll has plenty of turkey stacked on top of it so you get lots of salty meat in every bite!

Bake turkey sliders

After adding your turkey to your turkey sliders on Hawaiian rolls, place the cranberry-sauce-covered top loaf back on. Then, mix up some melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread the mixture over the top of the sliders before putting them in the oven.

Bake the sliders for around 15 minutes. They’re ready to enjoy when the tops of the Hawaiian rolls are toasted and brown and the cream cheese mixture is melted.

Tips for Making Turkey Sliders

These easy turkey sliders really are simple to make. But these quick tips will ensure the entire process goes more smoothly.

Section the Turkey Pieces

While it’s fine to spread the cranberry sauce spread over the entire top loaf, it’s a good idea to section the turkey pieces on each rolls. That will make it easier to pull the sliders apart after they’re finished baking.

Use Leftover Rolls

Since this delicious turkey slider recipe is designed to use up Thanksgiving leftovers, it makes sense to use leftover rolls, too. If you don’t have leftover Hawaiian rolls, using traditional dinner rolls would be delicious, too.

Make it Your Own

The thing I love about this easy recipe is that it’s deliciously simple. That makes it easy to customize! Whether you add some ham to the sliders or throw in some leftover gravy, make the most of the recipe’s simplicity to create your own delicious Thanksgiving leftover sliders.
