All About Emily

Do you ever walk through a store or browse photos on Pinterest and think, “I can make that?” If so, you’re in the right place!

Hi! I’m Emily and I’m addicted to DIY. From planning my kid’s birthday parties to creating decorations for my home, my motto is “I can make that.” I love creating new things. And I love showing other people how to have an amazing DIY lifestyle, too.

  • Do you have a mound of craft supplies waiting to be turned into something amazing?
  • Do you collect old “treasures” hoping to upcycle them into something new?
  • Are you obsessed with shopping at the dollar store to save on craft supplies?
  • Do you love creating DIY parties for your kids without the need for a party planner?
  • Does your family enjoy getting creative together in your spare time?

If you answered yes to any (or all) of these questions, welcome home! You’re going to love it here.

This blog is written by me, Emily Hunsaker. I work as a writer and graphic designer, and I’ve always loved creating new things in my spare time, too. I consider myself a DIYer in every aspect of my life. I find a sense of peace and fulfillment in creating something myself as opposed to buying it in a store.

At Hunny, I’m Home, I share my own projects, as well as things that inspire me to create. Here, you’ll find a variety of different DIY projects, but you’ll notice that they all have one thing in common — family. Every project that I share is designed to be simple and manageable. So, whether you need an easy craft to keep your kids entertained or have a few minutes to spare out of your busy schedule and want to make something for yourself, you’ll find tons of great ideas here!

There’s a lot to see and a lot more to come, so be sure to stay connected! Check out my social media pages (links at right) and sign up for my newsletter to get updates and access to a bunch of great freebies!
