Finding a great gift a dad who has everything is so hard! That’s why I love giving gifts of food whenever I can. And if you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, you probably already know how much I love gifts in a jar! No matter now simple a gift is, if you place it in a jar, it automatically looks amazing and thoughtful.
So, while this DIY Father’s Day gift is basically a can of mixed nuts, placing it in a jar and tying on a cute tag makes it a pretty thoughtful gift, don’t you think?
And I love that this cute DIY Father’s Day gift is so simple that the kids can make it all on their own. All you need to do is print out the gift tag and let them do the work! They’ll be so excited to give this thoughtful gift to their dad on Father’s Day.

Free Printable Tag for DIY Fathers Day Gift
This easy DIY Fathers Day gift only needs three supplies! First, you’ll need my free printable “We are Nuts About You” gift tag. To get your own, simply subscribe to my email list, print out the gift tag on card stock, and cut it out around the outer edge.

After getting your gift tag printed and cut out, grab a can of your dad’s favorite nuts. I used a can of mixed nuts for this gift and poured them into a pint-sized jar to make them look nice. You don’t even need the jar for this DIY Fathers Day gift. Simply attach the tag to the can of nuts and you’re finished!
The last step in creating your own DIY Fathers Day gift of nuts in a jar is to attach the tag. Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the top of the card. Then, thread a piece of ribbon or twine through the hole and attach it to the jar. Finish it off with a bow and you’re done!
