How to Do a Football Game Scavenger Hunt

One of the best things about doing a scavenger hunt at your party is that it’s easy to set-up. You don’t need any special game boards or supplies to put it together. Just a printable and some pencils for the kids to use as they play.

To do a football game scavenger hunt, just follow these simple instructions:

  1. Print out the game cards. Follow the instructions below for downloading and printing your own Super Bowl scavenger hunt cards for the kids to use. I suggest printing them on cardstock so they’re a little sturdier than regular paper. This will make it easier for the kids to carry around with them while they play.
  2. Turn on the game. This printable game is perfect for keeping everyone engaged while they watch the football game! That’s because all the items on the scavenger hunt can be found during the game itself!
  3. Pass the cards out to the kids (and adults). Give anyone who wants to play the game a printable game card to use as they watch the football game.
  4. Give each player a pencil or pen. It’s also a good idea to have writing utensils for each player. That’s because the players will need a way to mark off the items after they see them. You can use pens, pencils, or even stickers.
  5. Set a timer. This step is optional but it does make the game a little more interesting. After everyone has their game card and pencil, set a timer to speed the game along. The person who finds the most items on the list after the time is up wins!
  6. Play until someone finds everything on the list. If you’re not in a hurry to wrap up the game, you can skip the timer and let everyone search at their own pace. If you choose this route, the person who finds all the items on the list first wins!

Don’t forget to have a prize ready for the winner of the scavenger hunt! It could be a small favor bag, trophy, or little gift to reward the victor at the end of the game.
