But the best part about this simple project is that you only need a handful of supplies to make it! With the help of your Cricut, you can put together this simple Easter decoration in a matter of minutes.

To make this cute Easter Bunny sign for your home, you’ll need just a few craft supplies, including:
- Wooden sign. I purchased this wooden sign at Hobby Lobby, but you can find similar blank signs on Amazon or even in the craft section of Wal-Mart!
- Buffalo check vinyl. Can you believe I found this cute black and white buffalo check vinyl at Dollar Tree? If your store doesn’t have any in stock, you can also grab a roll of check vinyl on Amazon.
- Black vinyl. In addition to the patterned vinyl, you’ll also need plain black vinyl to finish this project.
- Transfer paper. The simplest way to transfer the vinyl text to your wooden sign is with transfer paper. Use this clear tape to keep your letters straight as you move them from the backing paper to the sign.

How to Make a Rae Dunn Easter Sign
Creating your own Rae Dunn sign at home is easier than you think. All you need is a Cricut and an SVG file to put this simple craft together with just a few minutes of work.

After downloading the SVG file from my freebies page, it’s time to start crafting! Upload the file into Design space to get it ready for cutting.

Once you upload the file into the design program, you’ll need to separate the different sections of the design. First, ungroup all the elements in the design. Then, select the bunny and weld it. After that, select the letters and weld them together.

Once you have the elements of the sign grouped together, you can select both sections and resize them to fit on the front of your sign.
After that, hit the green “make it” button to cut the design into vinyl. The Cricut will cut the two elements of the design separately, so you’ll need to load the black vinyl first to cut the letters and then load the buffalo check vinyl next to cut the bunny.

Once you have your pieces cut, use your weeding tool to remove the excess vinyl from around the design. Then, place a piece of transfer tape over the top of the letters and bunny to transfer it to your sign.

First, transfer the words to the bottom of your sign by placing the Rae Dunn phrase on the wood. Then use a credit card to transfer the vinyl from the tape to the sign.

After that, center the buffalo check bunny on top of the letters and transfer it into place using a credit card or other flat object.
