Washi tape is one of my favorite craft supplies. You can get it in so many different colors and patterns, making it a super simple way to add visual appeal to any craft project. When I found this set of pastel washi tape, I knew I had to create a cute Easter design for my home.

After you download your free template, print it out on heavy card stock. Then, cut out the rabbit along the outer border of the bunny.
Make Your Own DIY Easter Decorations
To create your fun washi tape pattern for your DIY Easter decorations, grab your favorite washi tape designs. I love the color combination this set of tapes provided. I chose to create a pattern with my tape, but randomly adding different colors and styles is another fun way to create your own DIY Easter decorations for your home.
Continue adding your washi tape to the plain piece of card stock. A great way to ensure you don’t waste your washi tape as you work is to follow the pattern of the rabbit’s shape, adding smaller pieces to the top and larger ones through the middle.
When you’re finished adding your design, place the cut out rabbit template on top. Since this Easter bunny wall art won’t use a piece of glass to secure the artwork in place, I suggest gluing the template to the top of the washi tape design.
Now it’s time to add a fun finishing touch that makes this cute bunny art the perfect addition to your DIY Easter decorations. Glue a fluffy white cotton ball to the bottom of the rabbit as the bunny’s tail!
Finish by placing your washi tape rabbit in a picture frame to display it with the rest of your DIY Easter decorations. I chose a classic white frame to allow the beautiful Easter colors of my washi tape to shine.
I love how it looks on my mantle with the rest of my Easter decor!

This is SUCH a cute idea. I do love washi tape – and I like the little cotton ball tail. 🙂

Hi! I do crafts at a Senior Center and love your ideas. For this washi tape bunny, I couldn’t find the template on your freebie page. There is a different bunny for a preschool craft but not this one. Where can I find it?
Thanks
