How to Make Chocolate Covered Easter Oreos
You’re going to love how quick and easy these Easter snacks come together. That means they’re perfect for just about any spring occasion — from an Easter dinner at home or an egg hunt themed party!

The first step to creating these fun Oreo pops is to coat the mini Oreos in chocolate. Start by melting the white chocolate wafers according to the package instructions. Then, place on mini Oreo in the melted chocolate and flip it to coat both sides.
Use a fork to remove the cookie from the melted chocolate and lightly tap the end of the fork to help the extra chocolate drip off the cookie.
Transfer the chocolate covered mini Oreo to a piece of parchment paper to cool and harden.

Then, place the full-sized Oreo in the melted white chocolate, making sure both sides of the cookie are fully coated.
Then, carefully lift the Oreo out of the chocolate using a fork. Lightly tap the handle of the fork on the side of the bowl to help the extra chocolate drip off the cookie.
Once all the extra chocolate has been removed, slowly slide the cookie off the fork and onto a piece of parchment paper to set. I’ve found it’s helpful to use a toothpick to help lightly push the cookie off the fork if it get stuck.

Immediately after transferring the full-sized cookie to the parchment paper, press a mini marshmallow into the top of the cookie. You want to do this while the chocolate is still melted to ensure the marshmallow sticks.
Then, allow the white chocolate to harden completely on both the large and mini Oreos.

Once the white chocolate is melted, melt the pink chocolate pieces according to the package instructions. After that, transfer the melted pink chocolate to a piping bag and use scissors to cut off the very tip of the bag to create a small hole.
Use the piping bag to pipe one large dot and three small dots on each mini Oreo. Then, allow the pink chocolate to cool and harden completely.

Once your bunny feet are ready to go, remelt either the white or pink chocolate — whichever you have more of. Transfer the extra chocolate to a piping bag, if needed, and pipe a small dollop of chocolate on the bottom of each bunny foot. Then, press the feet into the bottom of the larger Oreos.
Allow the chocolate under the bunny feet to harden completely before serving.
Bunny Butt Oreo Recipe Ideas
See how simple it is to make your own chocolate covered Oreos for Easter?

These simple serving ideas and decorating suggestions are a great way to adapt this spring recipe to suit your party’s theme or your guest’s preferences. Try these ideas the next time you make your own party treats:
- Add some coconut oil to the chocolate. If it seems like your white or pink chocolate is a little too thick, try mixing in some coconut oil. You’ll only need around one teaspoon of oil to help thin out the chocolate. Add it to the chocolate while it’s still hot, then stir to mix the oil in before decorating.
- Use them as party favors. These sweet snacks make the perfect party favors! Add them to your Easter egg hunt favor bags for a fun snack the kids will love.
- Add paper straws. Turn your bunny butt cookies into Oreo pops with the help of paper straws. Cut your straws in half, then flatten the top of each straw with your fingers. Carefully slide the straw into the filling inside the Oreos before dipping them in chocolate.
How Do You Store Chocolate Covered Easter Oreos?
These fun treats are perfect for making ahead because they keep for a long time! You can store your chocolate covered Oreos in an airtight container for up to one week. Make sure to place a piece of parchment paper between the layers in your container to keep them from sticking together!
But if you plan on making them for a party, I wouldn’t suggest prepping them more than a day in advance. The longer they sit, the higher the chances that your pink chocolate will start to bleed into the white chocolate. And the marshmallows will begin to harden after storing them for a long period of time.
