Easter Cheese Ball
Now you know this recipe is easy to make and can be put together with just a handful of simple ingredients. So what are you waiting for? Let’s start mixing!

To make your own Easter Bunny cheese ball, you’ll need just a few simple ingredients:
- Cream cheese: The base of your cheese ball is made of cream cheese. You can use full-fat or reduced fat cream cheese. Just make sure to soften it before you start mixing your ingredients!
- Italian seasoning and garlic powder: Add some flavor to your dip with the help of garlic powder and Italian seasoning mix. Most Italian blends include a mix of oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, and parsley.
- Pepperoni and mini pepperoni. Add chopped pepperoni slices into the the cheese ball mixture, then decorate your bunny butt with mini pepperoni.
- Shredded cheese: I used shredded parmesan cheese and Italian blend cheese because I love the flavor combination when paired with pepperoni! But you can mix in your own favorite shredded cheese!
How to Make an Easter Cheese Ball
You’re going to love how quick and easy it is to make your own bunny butt cheese ball! All you need are a few minutes of prep work and some time for the cheese ball to chill.

Start by combining the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, chopped pepperoni, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a medium bowl. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat the ingredients together until everything is well combined.

Now that the dip is mixed up, it’s time to chill it! First, separate the mixture into one large ball and three small ball. I scooped out two tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture to form each of the three small balls.
Wrap each ball tightly with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour, until each ball is firm. You can store the balls in the refrigerator up to overnight if needed.

When you’re ready to serve your cheese ball, remove all the balls from the fridge. Spread the Italian blend shredded cheese in an even layer on a large plate. Roll each of the small cheese balls in the shredded cheese until they’re fully coated.

Add more shredded cheese to the plate, if needed. Then roll the large cheese ball in the shredded cheese, pressing it into place as you roll.

Next, use a toothpick to attach one small ball to the top of the larger ball to form the bunny’s tail. After that, press two toothpicks into the bottom front of the large cheese ball to secure the final two small balls on the toothpicks to make the bunny’s feet.

Then, add four mini pepperoni to the front of the smaller cheese balls. These mini pepperoni will be the decorations for the bunny feet.
After that, your Easter cheese ball is ready to serve!
What to Serve with an Easter Cheese Ball
Once you have your cheese ball decorated and ready to go, serve it with some of these snacks for dipping at your party.
- Crackers. Adding a variety of crackers around your cheese ball is a great option for serving. There are so many delicious cracker options to serve with your bunny appetizer, including Ritz, Townhouse, Wheat Thins, pretzel crackers, bagel chips, or gluten free Nut Thins. Make sure to provide your guests with a small cheese knife or spoon to make scooping off the cheese ball easy.
- Chips. You can’t go wrong with chips and pizza dip! Try serving your cheeseball with tortilla chips, pita chips, corn chips or potato chips.
- Pretzels. Serve your cheese ball with pretzels for a salty snack for dipping. Mini pretzels, pretzel sticks, and pretzel chips are all great for snacking.
- Vegetables. Another great snack to add to your serving tray with your Easter appetizer is veggies! Add some carrot sticks, celery, bell pepper pieces, cherry tomatoes, or baby carrots for a healthy dipping option.

Then follow the instructions for arranging and decorating your finished cheeseballs.
- Use different foot decorations. I love the fun look of mini pepperoni on the feet! But if you can’t find any at your store, you can also cut small pieces of red bell pepper or trim full-sized pepperoni pieces down to size to create your bunny feet.
