Thanksgiving Juice Box Idea
The thing I love most about this craft is how easy it is to make. And your kids are sure to love drinking them because what kid would say no to a juice box?

To make these Christmas drinks for kids, you’ll need:
- Juice boxes or pouches
- Black paper or cardstock
- White paper or cardstock
- Yellow paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue

First, remove the straw from the juice box and set it aside. Then, measure the height of the juice box and cut the black paper to fit. I used my paper cutter to cut each piece of this juice box craft, making it super quick and easy!

Once you have all the black pieces of paper cut to fit the juice boxes, it’s time to cut the rest of the pieces. First, cut a one-inch wide strip of white paper that is long enough to wrap all the way around the juice box.
Then, cut a rectangle of yellow paper as wide as the front of the juice box and around two inches tall.
After you have the rectangle shape cut out, fold the piece of yellow paper in half and cut a smaller rectangle out of the center to form a buckle shape.

Now all that’s left to do is put the pilgrim hat together! First, wrap the black paper around the juice box and secure it with glue. I used my hot glue gun to put this craft together to make sure all the pieces stay on well.

After that, wrap the white strip of paper around the juice box and secure the ends in place with glue.

Then, glue the buckle onto the top of the white strip of paper.
Once you have all the pilgrim hats assembled, just glue or tape the straws to the back of the juice box and they’re ready to serve!
Questions About Making Thanksgiving Juice Boxes
Once you see how easy these cute pilgrim hat drinks are to make, you’re going to want to put them together for the kids every Thanksgiving! Check out these questions and answers to find out everything you need to know about putting together your own juice boxes at home.

How do the kids drink the juice?
If you’re making this craft with juice boxes, the kids can easily drink the juice because the hole for the straw isn’t covered by the paper.
Can I use juice pouches?
If your kids like pouches like Capri Sun instead of juice boxes, you can easily adjust this craft to use pouches! But once you put them together, you may be wondering how the kids will be able to get the straw in the drink. As you’re putting the craft together, make sure you don’t glue or tape the paper to the top of the drink. That way, it won’t be stuck to the front and cover the hole for the straw.
Can my kids make this craft?
This craft is so simple, your kids can definitely help. While I used hot glue to attach the pieces to the juice box, they can easily be glued on using traditional white glue. You’ll just have to wait a little longer for the glue to dry before enjoying the Thanksgiving drinks for kids.
