How to Make A Popsicle Stick Gift
You’re going to love how simple this popsicle stick craft is to make with your kids! In fact, it’s so easy that there is really just three steps to put this art project together with your kids.

Start by creating the base of the gift. Lay several popsicle sticks together on a flat surface. We used five sticks to create a rectanglular present, but if you want to make a larger gift, just use more sticks. Make sure all the ends of the sticks line up evenly.

Next, cut a stick in half and glue it to the back of the row of sticks. This will hold your sticks together to create a solid gift.

Allow the glue to dry completely on your popsicle sticks, then you can use your ribbon to decorate your gifts. Start by wrapping the ribbon around the front of the gift width-wise. Then, make an X at the center of the gift and wrap the ribbon around the front of the gift length-wise. Finish by tying a bow on the front of the gift.

Try these different ideas for getting creative with your own gift popsicle stick craft while you’re making it at home:
- Decorate with paint. Instead of using colored popsicle sticks, let your kids add their own creative touch to their DIY birthday gifts. Use plain wooden ice cream sticks and give your kids some paint or markers to decorate their own presents.
- Wrap them up. You can also add a fun decoration to your popsicle stick gifts with wrapping paper. After gluing your sticks together, cut a piece of wrapping paper or scrapbook paper to wrap around your homemade gift.
