Start by filling your mason jar with the candy. Make sure to leave a little bit of space on top so you don’t smash the candy pieces as you put the lid on!

Once you have your jar filled with candy, use your hot glue gun to attach to eyes and a red button nose to the front of the jar.

After that, you can make the antlers. Bend your pipe cleaners in half and twist them around each side of the jar. Continue twisting the sides of each pipe cleaner together, then bend the ends over to create antler shapes.

Next, carefully twist the lid onto the jar. The lid will be tight, so slowly twist while holding the antlers in place to secure the lid in place.

After that, all that’s left to do is add the gift tag. After downloading the tag, print it out on heavy cardstock. Then, cut the tag out around the outer border. Use a hole punch to put a hole in the top of the card, then wrap a piece of twine or ribbon around the lid a few times and attach the gift tag to the top of the jar with a bow.

  • Use different candy. I love the look of Whoppers for this gift! But if you don’t have any on hand, you can also use Junior Mints, brown M&Ms, Hershey’s Drops, truffles, Milk Duds, chocolate covered peanuts, or chocolate covered espresso beans.
  • Decorate with a different nose. In addition to swapping out the candy, you can also swap out the craft supplies you use to decorate your jar! Instead of a button, try using a red pom pom, red jingle bell, or painted red dot as the reindeer’s nose.
