Start by melting the red chocolate according to the package instructions. After that, dip each Bugle into the melted chocolate and coat both sides of the chip.

Use a fork to remove the chip from the melted chocolate. Tap the handle of the fork on the side of the bowl to remove the extra chocolate. Then, transfer the coated Bugle to a piece of parchment paper to harden.

Make sure to give your red chocolate plenty of time to cool and harden before you move on to the next step of decorating. It typically takes around 30 minutes for the chocolate to cool.

Finish decorating your Santa hat treats by pressing a mini marshmallow onto the top of each Bugle. The marshmallow should stick to the pointy end of the Bugles on their own. But if you have issues with the marshmallows sticking, you can add a small amount of white chocolate to the tip before pressing the marshmallow in place.
