Whether you’re planning on throwing a Toy Story themed party this year or are just looking for a fun Buzz Lightyear themed snack, these fun floats are a great idea! They’re super easy to make and your kids will love drinking theme with my cute printable rocket straw toppers!
To make these Toy Story float cups, you’ll need green sherbet and grape soda. And for decoration, you’ll need a few and my free Toy Story party printables (keep reading to find out how to get them!).
Make Your Own Buzz Lightyear Floats

To make your own Buzz Lightyear floats, start by scooping some sherbet into a small cup. I chose green sherbet, which is lime flavored, for our Buzz Floats to match Buzz’s green and purple spacesuit.

Next, pour some grape soda on top of the green sherbet. These floats are perfect for kids because they’re super sweet! If you’re looking for a way to tone down the sugar in this recipe, consider mixing some grape juice with a little bit of club soda or Sprite. Then, pour the mixture over the top of the green sherbet. Just make sure to use a carbonated beverage in your floats so you get that nice foam on top!

After the Buzz Lighyear floats are finished, it’s time to start making the straws to put in them. First, you’ll need my free printable “To Infinity and Beyond” straw toppers. To get your own, simply subscribe to my email list, print out the straw toppers on card stock, and cut out each rocket.

After cutting out each of the Toy Story party printables, use a hole punch to punch a hole in the tabs on the top and bottom. Then, slide a green striped paper straw through each hole and place the straws in your Buzz Lightyear floats!
