Once your cards are ready to go, it’s time to start filling your mason jars! I used pint sized jars for this gift, but you can also use large quart jars to give even snacks. Just add your pretzels to the jars and place the lid on top.

Using a mason jar is a great way to package your pretzels, but it’s not the only way to put this gift together! Try these other ideas to create a totally unique present to give your favorite teacher.

  • Attach the tag to a bag of pretzels. Make this pretzel gift idea even easier by printing out the gift tag and attaching it to a bag of pretzels! There’s no need to transfer the pretzels to a jar for the gift to be thoughtful and creative!
  • Use different types of pretzels. Mini pretzels are prefect for filling up a jar, but there are so many pretzel varieties to choose from! You could attach your gift tag to fancy gourmet pretzels, pretzel sticks, soft pretzels, pretzel bites, chocolate covered pretzels, or even a gift card to a pretzel place at the mall.
  • Fill a treat box or bag. Instead of displaying your pretzel gift in a jar, why not fill up a clear treat bag or treat box with a window. Then, attach the gift tag to the top.
  • Make a gift basket. Go all out with your teacher appreciation gift and make a pretzel themed gift basket. In addition to pretzels, you could also include different salts for topping and dips to enjoy with the snacks.
