My favorite party about making these printable cards is that you only need a few simple supplies to make your own DIY valentine cards at home for your kids to pass out to their friends! Here’s what you’ll need to make this simple Valentine’s Day gift:

  • Printable cards: Start by downloading my free printable Pop It valentines. Keep scrolling to see how to download and print your cards at home.
  • Cardstock: When you’re printing your own valentine cards at home, cardstock is your best bet. The heavier the better — especially since you’ll be attaching a bracelet to the cards. I suggest using at least 65 pound paper when printing your valentines.
  • Pop it bracelets: Since Pop It bracelets are pretty popular, you can find them just about anywhere. But if you want to get yours at the Dollar Store, check the toy aisle to find Pop Its in a variety of shapes and colors.
  • String or ribbon: Attach your valentine cards to the bracelets with the help of some string or ribbon. I used some cute red twine I found in the craft aisle of Dollar Tree for my valentine craft.

Once you’ve taken the time to download the free printable valentine cards, putting these adorable Valentine’s Day gifts together is pretty simple! To view the printable PDF, you’ll need to have a PDF reader installed on your computer. If you don’t have one, I recommend Adobe PDF reader.

To print your valentine cards, open the document with your PDF reader and print it on heavy cardstock. Then, cut each card out around the rainbow border. After that, you kid can sign their name on the back of each card.

Once you have all your cards cut out and ready to go, you can start attaching your Pop It bracelets. First, use a hole punch to put a hole in the corner of each card. Then, thread a piece of ribbon or string through the hole and wrap it around the bracelet. Secure the tag in place with a bow to finish decorating your Valentine’s gifts.

Pop It Valentine Ideas

The Dollar Tree bracelets are a fun addition to your Pop It valentines because these cute cards have fun “pop” phrases, like:

  • You Make My Heart Pop
  • Have a Poppin’ Valentine’s Day

But bracelets aren’t the only things you can add to your cards to turn them into a fun Valentine’s Day gift for your kid’s class!

There are a few other gifts you can attach to your cards to make them perfect for passing out to friends during your kids’ class parties, including:
