I love these valentines because they’re candy free! I don’t know about your kids, but my son always comes home with a ton of candy after his Valentine’s Day party at school. That’s why I look for candy-free DIY valentines for kids. And these cute glow stick valentines fit the bill. The card is cute and witty and they come with a candy free trinket any kid would love to have — a glow in the dark bracelet.

Make Your Glow Stick Valentines
I suggest printing the cards on thick card stock. The card stock will help your DIY valentines for kids adhere to the glow stick bracelets better. And they’ll be more likely to stay intact as they bounce around your kid’s classmate’s Valentine’s Day boxes.

After you have printed the cards out for your glow stick valentines, cut out each one along the outside of the lines. Then, unpackage all of your glow stick bracelets.

To assemble these cute glow stick valentines, just punch a hole in the center top and center bottom of each card with a hole punch. Then, thread a glow stick bracelet through each hole. For extra security, I would suggest adding a piece of tape along the back. This will help to secure the glow stick in place. Finish by having your child sign their name to the back of each card. That way, everyone will know who passed out these cool DIY valentines for kids.

See how simple that is? Your kids will love passing out these fun DIY valentines for kids. And you can also be sure that no one else in their class will have the same valentines! That makes these cute glow stick valentines the best choice for your child’s Valentines Day party at school this year!

And for an even cooler look, tell your child to pop the glow stick valentines before dropping them into their classmate’s Valentine’s Day boxes. They’ll light up the entire box!

Aw, fun idea. I like that it’s not candy as you do tend to mostly get candy. Plus, what kid doesn’t love glow bracelets?
