How to Make Patriotic Snack Mix
You’re going to love how quick and easy this patriotic snack come together. Since it’s a no bake treat, it’s perfect for any summer party!

The first step to making your red, white, and blue Muddy Buddies is to melt the red candy according to the package instructions. After that, separate the Chex into two bowls and pour the red chocolate over the top of the cereal.
Stir carefully to coat all the cereal pieces in the chocolate, making sure not to crush the cereal with your spoon as you stir.

Once all the cereal pieces are coated in red candy, add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar to a gallon size bag. Pour the chocolate coated cereal into the bag and seal it. Then, toss to coat all the cereal in the powdered sugar.

Next, melt the blue candy according to the instructions on the package and pour it over the top of the remaining cereal in a clean bowl. Carefully stir to coat all the Chex in blue candy.

Pour 1/2 cup of powdered sugar into a clean gallon sized bag and transfer the blue cereal pieces into the sugar. Seal the bag and toss the cereal to coat it in powdered sugar.

Now that you have your red and blue cereal pieces ready to go, pour them both into a large pan and lightly toss to mix up the colors.

After that, you can add in your remaining snack mix ingredients. I added some white chocolate covered pretzels, patriotic M&M candy, and some star sprinkles.
