But my favorite part about this simple recipe is the super short list of ingredients! To make you own crescent roll wreath, you’ll need:

  • Crescent rolls. You can use any brand of crescent roll dough you want, but I recommend Pillsbury for the best texture and flavor! You can use the precut rolls or crescent roll sheets to make your pigs in a blanket.
  • Little smokies. Fill your crescent rolls with little smokies sausages to create classic pigs in a blanket. Any type or flavor of sausages will work in this recipe.
  • Seasoning. You can easily add more flavor to your crescent rolls with the help of a few seasonings, like garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley flakes.
  • Butter. Topping your crescent rolls with melted butter helps them bake into a golden brown color and adds tons of flavor to the recipe!

Once you have your wreath appetizer and ready to go, serve it with some of these dips and decorations at your party.

  • Dip. One of the best ways to enjoy your pigs in a blanket is with some dip! Fill up a small bowl and place it in the center of the wreath for easy snacking. There are tons of delicious dips you can serve with your wreath, including honey mustard, chili cheese, ranch dressing, Dijon mustard, Ketchup, or cheese dip.
  • Herbs. Give your wreath a Christmas look with the help of some fresh herbs as decorations. You can use sprigs of rosemary, dill, or parsley to create the look of greenery around the wreath on the plate.
  • Tomatoes. Another simple way to decorate your appetizer is with small cherry or grape tomatoes. Place the around the edges or on top of the wreath to add a pop of color.

How Do You Remove Pigs in a Blanket From a Bundt Pan?

Once you have your appetizer baked, you’ll see that it looks amazing in the pan! So, how do you take it out of the Bundt pan without it falling apart?

Make sure the crescent rolls are slightly cool first! It’s important to allow the dough to cool in the pan before you attempt to remove it. That’s because it will be very soft right after it comes out of the oven, making it difficult to pull the entire wreath out in one piece.

After allowing the bread to cool for around 10 minutes, use a flexible spatula or butter knife to carefully loosen the sides of the wreath from the pan. Then, use both hands to slowly lift the wreath out of the pan and onto your serving tray.
