Both my kids love Toy Story, so I have hosted two Toy Story birthday parties! These cute DIY Toy Story cupcakes were one of my favorite treats at my Toy Story 4 birthday party. They look amazing, but you wouldn’t believe how easy they are to make.

Toy Story Cupcakes Forky Toppers
Before you make your Toy Story cupcakes, you’ll need to make enough Forky cupcake toppers to put on all your cupcakes.
These cute DIY Toy Story cupcake decorations are so easy to make! Your kids could even help out in creating the Forky cupcake toppers for your party. To make these Forky cupcake decorations, you’ll need:
- White sporks
- Googly eyes
- Red and blue puff paint
- Red pipe cleaners
- Glue
If you want the full instructions to make your own Forky craft, read my full blog post. Here is a quick breakdown of how to make these cute cupcake toppers:
- Glue two googly eyes to the back of each spork.
- Use the red puff paint to draw an eyebrow over the top of each eye.
- Use the blue puff paint to draw a mouth on each of the sporks.
- Wrap the red pipe cleaner around the center of the spork handle twice to create arms. To form hands, create a circle on each end of the red pipe cleaner. Place a drop of glue on the back fo the spork to hold the arms in place, if needed.
DIY Toy Story Cupcakes
Now that your Toy Story cupcake decorations are ready to go, it’s time to make the cupcakes! For our Toy Story birthday cupcakes, we used:
- Funfetti cupcakes
- Vanilla icing
- Rainbow sprinkles
Start by preparing your funfetti cupcakes according to the package instructions. Bake the cupcakes and allow them to cool completely before decorating.
Pipe the vanilla icing on top of each of the cupcakes, then sprinkle the rainbow sprinkles over the icing. It’s a good idea to add the sprinkles to the cupcakes before the icing has time to set, so they stick to the icing.
Finish decorating your Toy Story cupcakes by sticking the Forky cupcake toppers into each cupcake. Just press the end of the spork into the center of the cupcake to transform your plain funfetti cupcakes into adorable Toy Story birthday cupcakes!

How to Display Forky Cupcakes
Since your Forky cupcakes will be taller than traditional cupcakes, you may be wondering how to display your Toy Story cupcakes. You could use a flat cake stand or tiered stands to display your cupcakes. I was able to find a cute circus cupcake stand to fit the theme of my carnival Toy Story 4 party. This carnival cupcake stand was a fun way to display my Forky cupcakes.
