To make your own Toy Story snow globes, remove the bottom lid from each of the snow globe ornaments. Glue the Toy Story figures in place inside the lid so they stay put when you shake the snow in your snowglobe.

Next, add a little bit of cotton ball snow along the bottom of each ornament. This will help hide the blue stand on the bottom of each figure and help the faux snow stick to the bottom of the ornament when it’s not being shaken.

Since this craft is a water-free snowglobe, you won’t have to worry about a mess as you’re making the ornament or as your kids play with it. That means adding cotton balls to the to the bottom of your snow globe is totally fine!

When you examine these snow globe ornaments a little more closely, it’s easy to see that they’re not water-tight. That means you won’t be able to use them to make a traditional snow globe with water inside because it would just leak out the top and bottom. But that doesn’t mean you can’t create a cute snow globe ornament with them!

I feel like this method of making a snow globe ornament is actually better for kid’s crafting. You don’t have worry about a mess of water when you’re trying to put it together. Just add the snow by flipping the top of the ornament upside down and scooping some faux snow into the jar with a spoon.

Diy woody ornaments

You don’t have to add much faux snow to your ornaments to get the snow globe effect. After placing a small amount of snow in the globe, carefully screw on the top of the ornament to the base. After that, you can decorate the bottom with a ribbon, if you want. Or leave it like it is and hang your DIY Toy Story ornaments on the Christmas tree.
