I just love finding fun ways to package Halloween treats! This particular treat uses only two ingredients and is super simple to make! You can popcorn hands for your kid’s classroom Halloween parties, pass them out to trick-or-treaters, or add it to your own Halloween party food spread!
To make this simple pop corn hand, all you need are a bag of candy corn, some popcorn, and plastic gloves. I recommend using large food handling gloves instead of smaller plastic gloves because the popcorn fits better in the fingers.
To make the popcorn hand, start by putting the candy corn into each finger to act as the fingernail. I love these giant candy corns by Jelly Belly that I found at Kroger. They’re extra-wide and look more like fingernails than regular-sized candy corn. After you’ve added the candy corn, start sliding popcorn pieces into each finger.
After all the fingers are full, stuff some popcorn into the rest of the glove until the popcorn hand is full, then tie it off with a cute ribbon.
That’s it! Not only is this Halloween treat so simple to make, but the kids just love them! I’ve made them for several parties and sports events and they’re a big hit every time!
