Hot Pizza Dip
You won’t believe how easy it is to make this baked pizza dip! And the best part about this hot dip is that you can make it with just a handful of simple ingredients and enjoy a delicious pizza flavored snack.

To make your own hot pepperoni pizza dip, you’ll need a few simple ingredients, including:
- Cream cheese. Make sure to allow time for your cream cheese to soften before you start mixing your dip ingredients. I suggest using full fat cream cheese for this dip for the best flavor and consistency.
- Marinara sauce. You can’t have pizza without sauce! Use your favorite marinara or pizza sauce to top the cream cheese layer of your dip.
- Mini pepperoni. The mini pepperoni from Hormel are perfect for dips! And they’re so cute, too! But if you can’t find the minis, you can also use regular pepperoni and chop up the slices into smaller pieces to make it easier for dipping.
- Mozzarella cheese. Use some mozzarella cheese to add to the pizza flavor of your dip. I used mozzarella cheese, but you could also use parmesan, reggiano, asiago, or any combination of Italian cheeses.
- Seasoning. Italian seasoning and garlic powder will give your dip tons of Italian flavor.
How to Make Hot Pizza Dip
Now that you have your ingredients gathered up and ready to go, it’s time to start baking. Follow these easy instructions for preparing your pizza dip for your next party.

Add the softened cream cheese, half the mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to a medium bowl. Stir well, making sure all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Starting with softened cream cheese is the key to getting smooth, creamy dip every time you make it! You can let it rest at room temperature until it’s softened. Or soften it in the microwave.

Next, spread the cream cheese mixture across the bottom of your pan. Since this dip is layered, you’ll need to bake it in the pan you’re plan to serve it in. I used a small cast iron skillet for baking, but you could also use a small baking dish or other oven-safe skillet.

After that, spread the marinara sauce over the top of the cream cheese layer. Make sure it’s spread evenly over the entire pan.

The next layer of your pizza dip is the shredded cheese. I used finely shredded mozzarella cheese for this layer, but any Italian cheese would be delicious!

The final ingredient for your pepperoni pizza dip is the mini pepperonis! Just sprinkle them all over the top of the shredded cheese.

After that, all that’s left to do is pop the dip in the oven to bake! Allow it to bake for around 30 minutes, until the cheese on top is nice and melty.

How Long is Pizza Dip Good for in the Refrigerator?
Since this dip is made with cream cheese, the longest I would recommend letting this dip sit out after you serve it is two hours. Then, you should transfer the dip to the refrigerator until you’re ready to eat it again.
Before placing the pepperoni dip in the fridge, cover it with plastic wrap or transfer the leftovers to an airtight container to keep the cream cheese from hardening. You can store the dip in the fridge for up to three days.
You can reheat the dip in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or in the microwave until heated through.
