How to Make Ghost Crescent Rolls
The key to making these simple ghost crescent rolls is cutting and manipuating the shape of the bread. Luckily, crescent rolls start out as triangles. That meas it easy to turn them into ghosts!
Start by separating each triangle from the crescent roll dough sheet. Place the triangle on a cutting board so that the bottom, flat part of the triangle is on the top. Then, use a sharp knife to cut two diagonal slits from each corner.
Pull the corners down slightly to form the arms of the ghost.
Next, fold the ends of theh smaller triangle you created with your knife under to form a cirlce-shaped head. After that, just curve the bottom end of your ghost up to form its curved tail.
Carefully transfer your crescent roll ghosts to a baking sheet. You can see from the picture that I placed each of my ghosts’ arms and tails in different direction so that each ghost garlice bread looked slightly different.
Before popping your crescent rolls in the oven, brush each ghost with melted butter. Sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder over each roll, then put them in the oven to bake according to the package instructions.
After the crescent rolls have been baking for a few minutes and have started to turn golden brown, remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese over the top of each bread.
There’s no need to worry about the cheese falling of the sides of your ghosts. After the bread is finished baking, you can remove it from the pan and pull off the extra pieces that are hanging off the sides before you serve them.
