Easy Fortnite Cupcakes

To make your own Fortnite cupcakes recipe, you’ll need just a few simple supplies. So, allow your cupcakes to cool completely and unwrap your icing to get started making these simple desserts for a Fortnite party.

After your cupcakes are finished baking and cooled completely, you can start decorating. But first, you’ll need to prepare your icing. If you’re making 24 cupcakes, you’ll use two jar of premade vanilla or white icing. Separate around 1/4 of the icing into a piping bag or quart-size zip-top bag.

Then, place the remaining icing in a bowl and add some blue food coloring. I always use gel food coloring when tinting icing for two reasons. One, it creates a more vibrant color. And two, you don’t need as much of it, which means it won’t change the texture of your icing.

You can see from the photo above that I only used a small amount of blue gel icing to get the perfect light blue tint for my Fortnite v-bucks cupcakes. After adding the blue food coloring, use a whisk or spoon to mix the coloring into the icing until it’s thoroughly combined.

Then, you can spread the icing over the top of your cupcakes in a smooth layer. The blue icing will be the background of your v bucks. Then, you’ll decorate them with the v bucks logo with white icing. I used a flat spatula to help get the icing as smooth as possible.

Next, grab your piping bag with the remaining white icing. Whether you’re using a piping bag or zip-top bag, simply snip the very tip off the corner of the bag to create a fine-tip to pipe your icing. Add a border around the outer edge, then pipe a V in the center. If you need a quick reference to what a V Buck looks like, here is an example from Epic Games.

Now that your v bucks cupcakes are done, they’re ready for your party! These adorable Fortnite party treats are sure to look amazing with the rest of your Fortnite party food ideas!
