  • Printable gift tag. Keep reading to see how to get your own printable gift tag to use for your teacher appreciation present.
  • Cardstock. It’s a good idea to print out your gift tags on heavy cardstock so they don’t rip or fall apart as you’re putting your gifts together.
  • Paper straw. Attach the teacher appreciation gift tags to your gift with the help of a pink and white striped paper straw. I got mine from Wal-Mart.
  • Potted plant. Grab your teacher’s favorite flower and place it in a pretty pot! The pot I used was found in the gardening section at Wal-Mart.

After downloading your teacher appreciation gift tag, print the tags out on heavy cardstock. Then, all you have to do is use a pair of scissors to cut the tag out around the outer edge.

After that, flip the card over and let your child sign their name so their teacher knows who this cute gift came from!

Once you have your cards cut out and signed, use your hot glue gun to attach a paper straw to the back of the card.

Try these other ideas to create a totally unique present to give your favorite teacher.

  • Attach the tag to the flower. A paper straw is just one way to decorate your gift! You can also attach the tag to a wooden skewer or punch a hole in the corner and tie it to the pot with a piece of ribbon or twine.
  • Give the gift of a floral bouquet. Instead of giving a potted plant, you can also stick the gift tag into a bouquet of flowers!
  • Give any type of plant. Flowers are just one option for using this cute gift tag! You can also attach it to vegetable plants, seeds, gardening supplies, or succulents!
