Dollar Tree Easter Egg Tree

You can grab everything you need to make this cute Easter egg tree at Dollar Tree! Just check out the seasonal section of your store to find tons of cute Easter craft supplies.

To make your own Easter egg topiary, you’ll need a few simple supplies, including:

• Foam cone. The craft section of your dollar store should have a variety of floral foam in different shapes, including cones! But if your store doesn’t have any in stock, you can grab a foam cone from Wal-Mart or your favorite craft store.
• Robin’s egg Easter eggs. You’ll also need plastic eggs to decorate your tree. I used the robin’s egg style eggs for my tree and needed three packages. But I didn’t use the green or purple eggs on my wreath.
• Spanish moss. To fill in the spaces between the eggs, I add some Spanish moss. You can find a package of moss at the dollar store in the craft aisle.
• Hot glue gun. You’ll also need your trusty hot glue gun to hold the eggs in place on your Easter tree.
• Mod Podge. I found it was easier to glue the moss to the tree with Mod Podge, so I also used it for this craft. Luckily, you can grab a small bottle from the craft aisle!

How to Make a Dollar Tree Easter Egg Tree

If you’re wondering how to create this cute Easter egg tree, you’re in luck! All you have to do is follow these simple steps to create this Easter egg craft at home right now.

Start by using your hot glue gun to attach the Easter eggs all around the cone. I started at the bottom and worked my way up to the top. You’ll need to hold each egg in place as the glue dries or it will fall off!

When you’re sure all the glue is dry on your eggs, lay the tree on its side and use a paintbrush to brush Mod Podge into the space between each egg.

After you add the glue, use the end of your paintbrush to push some moss into the space. Lightly press the moss into the glue to secure it.

Once all the moss is added to the tree, give it plenty of time to dry. I suggest letting the glue dry overnight. Then, shake the tree to help the loose moss fall off before you add it to your Easter decor.
