After downloading the printable turkeys, print them on heavy card stock. Then, cut out each turkey and the strip at the bottom. Here’s what you’ll need to put this cute turkey preschool craft:
- Printable turkey bodies
- Card stock
- Scissors
- Small styrofoam balls
- Tape
- Feathers in different colors
After cutting out the turkeys, use a piece of tape to secure the ends of the strip of paper at the bottom of each turkey together to form a stand. Then, place a small styrofoam ball in the center of each stand to hold the feathers. You may need to adjust the size of your stand to fit the styrofoam ball. After everything is secure, simply turn the turkeys around to play!
Play the Color Sorting Game
There are a couple different ways you can play with this turkey preschool craft:
- Line up the turkeys and place a pile of feathers in front of your child. Ask your child to pick up each feather and place it on the turkey that matches its color. For a more advanced game, set a timer and let your child see if they can correctly match all the feathers to the correct turkeys before the timer goes off.
