You can’t go wrong by playing Bingo with your party guests. This classic game is perfect for entertaining both kids and adults, making it a great option for your next party!

Create a fun play area and a cute party favor all in one with a puppy adoption center. Set up the center by placing dog balloons or stuffed animals in a pin, then letting the party guests pick out which pet they want to take and play with. Check out my dog themed birthday party to see how I set up an adoption center at my son’s birthday and get a free printable sign to decorate your own adoption area at your party.

Print out my free dog beach bingo sheets to play your own beach-themed game at your birthday party. To play, print out enough sheets for each of your party guests. The printable contains 10 different bingo cards to use at your party. Cut out each of the calling cards around the outer border and place them in a bowl. The caller can then pull a card out of the bowl and call the beach item pictured on the card. When a player finds that picture on their card, they should stamp it or cover it with a marker. The first person to match five beach pictures in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins that round.

Beach Pinata

Pinatas are another classic party game, which means you can’t go wrong! And with a variety of cute beach themed pinatas to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect one to match your own party decorations.

Scavenger Hunt

If you’re hosting your party at the beach, keep your party guests entertained with the help of a scavenger hunt. You can create your own beach themed hunt, or simply use a set of premade scavenger hunt cards for your party. Pass out all the clues to your guests and let them search the beach for each item on the list.

Musical Beach Towels

Turn a game of musical chairs into a beach-themed activity for your party with this fun adaptation. Lay out enough beach towels for each of the guests playing the game, minus one. Turn on some beach-themed music and ask the players to walk in a circle around the towels. When the music stops, each player must sit on a towel. The person without a seat is out. After each round, remove a towel and continue playing until one player is left standing.

Sand Castle Contest

If you’re up for some messy fun, why not hold a sand castle contest? Let each of the kids show off their sandcastle building skills on the beach. Or provide them with some sand to play with in your backyard. Make sure to provide your party guests with plenty of sandcastle toys to help them build!

Then pick a winner and give them a prize. You could even come up with different categories for the winners to ensure none of the guests feel left out. Try using these sandcastle contest categories to ensure everyone gets a prize at your party:

  • Biggest sandcastle
  • Best castle
  • Funniest sandcastle
  • Biggest moat
  • Silliest sandcastle
  • Tallest sandcastle
  • Smallest castle
  • Best decorations
  • Most castle structures
  • Best castle flag

Bean Bag Toss

With the help of an ocean-themed bean bag toss game, your party guests will have a blast playing at your beach party. Just set up the board and let the kids take turns tossing the bean bags into the targets to win prizes.

Beach Obstacle Course

If you have lots of space for party games, why not set up a beach-themed obstacle course? Set up different activity centers around your yard or across the beach to create a challenging course for the kids to compete. First person to make it through the course wins a prize!

Flamingo Volleyball

Turn plain beach volleyball into a fun beach themed party game with this inflatable flamingo volleyball set. Since the net is inflatable, it can be used in water or on the sand. That means the kids at your celebration are sure to have some fun playing volleyball with each other — no matter where you’re hosting your beach-themed party.

Water Gun Fight

Make sure your guests stay cool during your beach party by providing them with water guns to play with. You can let the kids play freely with the water guns or have a water gun battle to declare a winner at the end of the fight.

Beach Themed Crafts

Beach games are a fun way to keep the kids entertained, but if you’d rather have a more structured activity at your birthday party, crafts are a great idea! Choose some beach themed crafts to make with your party guests to have a little bit of creative fun at your event. Just make sure to provide each guests with the supplies they’ll need to put the project together, then let them take their art project home after the party is over.

Shark Toss

With the help of this cute shark toss game, the kids at your beach party can have some fun playing catch. And they’ll love the adorable shark nets that help them catch the ball as they toss it back and forth!

Tiki Toss

This surfboard-shaped ring toss game is a great activity for both the kids and adults at your celebration! Simply set up the Tiki Toss game at your event, and let your party guests take turns trying to get the ring onto the hook.

Flamingo Ring Toss

There are so many fun ways to use this flamingo ring toss game! Since the flamingos are inflatable, you can put them in the pool, wear them on your head, or set them in the sad. After that, simply challenge your party guests to get the rings on the flamingos to score points and win a prize.

Limbo

You can’t go wrong with limbo at your next party! This inflatable limbo set is a great option for a kid’s birthday. The kids can easily move the marker up and down as the game progresses. And when the party’s over, just deflate the game and store it away until your next beach celebration.

Tiki Target Toss

This tiki-themed tossing game is another fun activity for the kids at your beach party. All you have to do is hang the fabric target at your event, then let the kids take turns trying to toss the balls into the holes to score points.

Water Balloon Toss

Water balloons are always a hit with kids! That means this fun party game is perfect for any birthday celebration. Start by filling up a bunch of water balloons for the kids to play with. Then, play a game of hot potato. Line up the kids into two lines, facing each other. After that, the kids will take turns tossing the balloons back and forth to each other. After each successful catch, the kids must each take one step backwards. If a balloon pops after a toss, that team is out of the game. The last team standing wins!
