Supplies Needed

My favorite part about this fun DIY project that you only need a handful of supplies to put it together!

To make your own M&M teacher appreciation gift, you’ll need a few items from the store. Here’s what I used to put together my own gift, but you can customize your presents however you want. Keep reading to get more ideas at the end of the post!

• Printable gift tag. Keep reading to see how to get your own printable gift tag to use for your teacher appreciation present.
• Cardstock. It’s a good idea to print out your gift tags on heavy cardstock so they don’t rip or fall apart as you’re putting your gifts together.
• Ribbon or twine. Attach the teacher appreciation gift tags to your gift with some ribbon or twine. I used a simple black satin ribbon for my gift.
• Mason jar. A glass jar is the perfect way to package your candy teacher gift! That’s because it looks amazing and is easy to put together.
• M&Ms. Grab your teacher’s favorite M&M flavor to finish putting this gift together!

How to Make an M and M Teacher Gift

Now that you have your gift tags downloaded and ready go to, it’s time to start putting your candy gift together! Follow the instructions below for making this quick and easy present for your kids’ teachers.

After downloading your teacher appreciation gift tag, print the tags out on heavy cardstock. Then, all you have to do is use a pair of scissors to cut the tag out around the outer edge.

After that, flip the card over and let your child sign their name so their teacher knows who this cute gift came from!

Once your cards are signed and ready to go, use a hole punch to put a hole in the corner of the card.

After that, fill up your mason jar with M&Ms and place the lid on top. Wrap a piece of ribbon or twine around the top of the jar and thread one end of the ribbon through the hole in the corner of your card. Then, secure the card to the jar with a bow.
