Toy Story 4 Birthday Party Decorations

The first step to throwing an amazing Toy Story 4 birthday party is finding great decorations. Our birthday party had a carnival theme since part of the movie takes place at a carnival. For decorations, I started with a plain white tablecloth and built upon it with banners. For this party, we used:

  • Toy Story Character Banner: This cute banner decorated the front of the table and features characters from Toy Story 4, including Buzz, Woody, Forky, Bunny, Ducky, Bo Peep, and Duke Kaboom.
  • Striped Carnival Banner: This large red and white striped carnival banner decorated the entire yard. it was long enough to string up behind the food table, then circle the party from tree to tree.
  • Carnival Paper Bunting: We also decorate the back of the table with this cute paper bunting to add to the backdrop of the carnival theme of the Toy Story 4 party.

In addition to purchasing decorations for the Toy Story 4 party, I also made my own party decor. These DIY blocks were made from brown boxes, duct tape, and poster board. I used my Cricut to cut out the letters, them put the blocks together to add some personalization to the party decorations.

Another DIY project I made for this party were these cute Toy Story jars! They’re painted mason jars with fun Toy Story tags to decorate them. The painted jars were used to hold the silverware and paper straws for the party. Guests enjoyed the carnival snacks on Toy Story plates and napkins.

And when you’re throwing a Toy Story party, you can’t forget to decorate with toys! We used several Toy Story toys throughout our decor, including:

Toy Story 4 Party Food

The Toy Story 4 party food was the star of the celebration! Since we used a carnival theme for the party, we served a variety of carnival foods. In addition to being delicious and easy to eat, all the foods were favorites of the birthday boy!

The menu featured several different finger foods you would find at a carnival, including:

  • Soft pretzels
  • Mini corndogs
  • Waffle fries
  • Popcorn

We used a variety of containers to display the food to add to the food table decor. In addition to plates and risers, we also used cute containers for the food. The waffle fries were served in red paper snack boxes and the popcorn was displayed in these cute carnival popcorn boxes.

The food was displayed on red plates to match the rest of the party theme’s colors. The large soft pretzels were brushed with melted butter before the salt was sprinkled on — yum!

To add a little bit of Toy Story flair to the mini corndogs, we used these cute cowboy picks. They came with cowboy hats and cowboy boots, making them the perfect way to add some Woody character to the finger foods at the Toy Story birthday party.

After eating all the yummy carnival food, we served cupcakes and snow cones for dessert. To make the snow cones, we used this simple at-home snow cone maker and some cherry syrup. Don’t foget the striped snow cone cups! They were a big hit with the kids!

But the star of the snow were the Forky cupcakes! These simple cupcakes were so easy to make! After decorating them with DIY Fory cupcake toppers, I added some fun carnival striped cupcake wrappers on the bottom. The Toy Story cupcakes were displayed on a big top cupcake stand to add to the Toy Story 4 birthday party theme.

Toy Story 4 Party Games

Since the party was outside, we had lots of fun water activities for the kids to do. After they were finished swimming and playing at the water table, we set up some fun carnival games for the kids to play.
