Assemble the DIY Valentines for Boys
After you’ve signed up for my e-mail and downloaded these awesome printable valentine cards for kids, it’s time to assemble this easy craft. Start by printing your valentine cards on heavy card stock. Then, cut each card out around the outer edge in the shape of the pudding cup.
Use a small screw driver or nail to poke two small holes in the center of the road at the bottom of the card. The holes just need to be big enough to thread a piece of black and white twine through. You’ll use that twine to attach the race car to the bottom of the card.
After you have all the cards cut out and ready for the cars to be attached, pass them on to your kids. It’s their turn to do their part in creating these easy race car valentines. Tell them to write the name of each of the classmates on the top of the card, then sign their name so all the kids in their class will know who passed out these super cool valentines!
When each of the cards has been signed and is ready to go, it’s time to start assembling these simple homemade valentines. To put them together, simply place the car on top of the twine and tie a bow on top of the car. If you’re worried about the cars falling off the valentines, add a piece of tape underneath the car to secure it in place.
And that’s it! See how easy these awesome Hot Wheels valentines are to put together? And I’m sure your boy will be a big hit at the class party with these cool valentines!
