Toy Story Alien Letter A Preschool Craft

One of the fun parts of using the letter of the week curriculum is that you get to come up with fun ways to use each letter. This week, we’re practicing the letter A. And since my youngest son loves Toy Story, creating a Toy Story alien out of a letter A was the perfect craft idea.

Letter A Craft for Preschoolers
To make your own witch preschool letter A craft, you’ll need a few simple craft supplies. Put together this educational craft at home with these supplies:
- Green craft sticks
- Googly eyes
- Green and blue construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
So, gather up your supplies and get started on your own letter A craft for preschoolers right now!
A is for Alien Preschool Craft
Since you’ll be making this craft with a preschooler in mind, you’ll need to do a little bit of cutting beforehand so you have all your supplies ready for your preschooler to put this alien craft together. Start by cutting one green craft stick in half to serve as the center line for the capital A.
Then, cut a few different shapes from your construction paper, including:
- Green antennae
- Small green triangle for the top part of the A
- Blue trapezoid for the bottom part of the A
After you have everything cut and ready to go, you can start putting together your letter A preschool craft for. Start by asking your little one to create an A with the three popsicle sticks. Once they have the shape formed, you can help them glue the sticks together. Then, attached three googly eyes to the center of the A.
Attach the antennae to the top of the A to give your Toy Story alien craft a fun look! Then, grab your other pieces of construction paper to creat the alien’s outfit on your letter A craft.
To add your alien’s outfit, you’ll need your small green triangles and blue trapezoids. Place those in front of your preschooler and ask them to figure out where each piece goes inside the letter A.
Once they have figured out the proper location for each pice, you can glue them to the back of the Letter A craft finish creating your adorable Toy Story Aliens.

Toy Story Alien Letter A Craft
Turn a popsicle stick letter A into a cute Toy Story alien with this fun Letter A craft for preschool.
Materials
- 5 green craft sticks
- 6 googly eyes
- Green construction paper
Tools
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
- Cut one of the green craft sticks in half. Create a letter A by gluing two full-size craft sticks together at the top to form an upside-down V shape. Glue one of the stick halves in the center of the V to form a capital A.
- Glue three googly eyes along the center of each A.
- Cut two antennae shapes out of the green construction paper. Attach the antennae to the top of each letter A.
