Ideas for an Awesome WWE Birthday Party

My oldest son is obsessed with wrestling right now, so he just had to have a WWE themed birthday party this year. We had a lot of fun coming up with fun food names using the names of wrestlers for his WWE birthday party. Everyone loved the decorations and party favors too! The theme of his party was “NoahMania,” which we used on the invitations and the cupcake toppers. I created the NoahMania logo in Photoshop and used it on the print materials for the party. 

In addition to a traditional invitation, which looked like a ticket to NoahMania, we also included VIP passes to the party. I made the designs for both pieces in Photoshop then had them printed at Wal-Mart. I had to cut everything out after it was printed because they weren’t standard sizes. Then, I added the VIP passes to lanyards that I purchased on Amazon.

I used red, white and black as the color theme for this party. I put a black tablecloth on the food table, then used red serving dishes for the cookies and treats. Snack mix was placed in red and white striped and black snack containers, which I displayed in a toy wrestling ring. I also used red, black and white for the food labels.

I made Booty O bars using chocolate Cheerios as part of my WWE party food menu.

The John Cena WWE snack mix was a big hit at the party. It included a variety of fun snacks, including M&Ms, Cheez-its, popcorn, and pretzels. The snacks were displayed in a toy wrestling ring in cute snack boxes so each kid could get the same amount of snack.

I used Scrabble Cheez-its to spell out wrestling-related words. This one had WWE spelled out in it. I also used words like ring and pin, in addition to wrestler’s names, like Cena and Miz. The kids had a blast spelling out the words with their crackers as they ate the snacks.

I also made championship belt cookies using this awesome wrestling belt cookie cutter I found on Etsy. The wrestling belts were sugar cookies with black and red royal icing. I added some red crystal sugar to the center to add some flair, making it perfect for a WWE birthday party.

Each food label featured a picture of wrestler, along with the food name. I made them by printing out the label, then cutting cardstock to fit. The black and white chevron background was the largest piece, which I folded and made into a tent, then added the red card stock. Finally, I glued the printed label on top of that.

The Rock Candy was probably my favorite play on words for the WWE birthday party food. I stored the rock candy suckers in a red metal basket. The basket was lined with some scrap black and white chevron fabric I had laying around.

We found this metal WWE lunch box at a flea market a while back and it was perfect for using it as a Money in the Bank briefcase. I printed out the Money in the Bank logo and cut it to fit inside the lid, then lined the lunch box with a red bandanna. The money in the lunch box was chocolate coins. After the party was over, I passed out WWE birthday party treat bags and let the kids pick out candy to take home with them.

The kid’s table had a red tablecloth topped with a black and white chevron table runner. Each seat had a plain black plate for snacks and cake, along with a WWE paper mask to wear. The table also had WWE birthday party balloons as the centerpiece.
