Beef Taco Sliders
On top of being packed with Mexican flavor, these simple baked sliders couldn’t be easier to make. That’s because you only need a handful of simple ingredients to put them together!

And with the addition of taco topping, you have a flavorful snack perfect for any occasion. To make this easy taco slider recipe, you’ll need:
- Hawaiian rolls. These adorable little rolls are the perfect size for mini sandwiches! I used Hawaiian rolls to add sweetness to the appetizers but you can also use butter rolls if you prefer.
- Ground beef. Create classic taco filling for your sandwiches by using ground beef as the protein in your sliders.
- Taco seasoning. Add taco flavor to your meat with the help of some taco seasoning. You can make your own blend or use your favorite premade mix.
- Taco sauce. Add even more taco flavor to your sliders with the help of taco sauce! Use mild, medium, or hot sauce to add as much spice as you want to your sandwiches.
- Shredded cheese. I topped my taco sliders with shredded fiesta blend cheese, but you can use your favorite cheese variety. Cheddar, Colby jack, or even pepper jack would work well!
- Shredded lettuce. Give your sandwiches a fresh taco crunch with the help of shredded lettuce on top.
How to Make Beef Taco Sliders
You’re going to love how quickly this party food recipe comes together! Just layer the ingredients and pop it in the oven to whip up a delicious appetizer for any party.

Start by slicing your slider buns in half lengthwise to create top and bottom buns. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place both sets of buns on the pan. Place the bottom buns face up on the pan. And the top buns will go face down on the pan to toast the inside of the top buns.

Next, brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. When the meat is cooked through, add the taco seasoning and water. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until it has reduced and thickened, then remove the pan from heat.

Spread the taco meat evenly over the bottom buns, making sure to flatten the meat so it sits evenly as it cooks.

Next, drizzle the taco sauce over the top of the meat.

Then, sprinkle the cheese over the meat and pop the pan in the oven to bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted.

After that, remove the pan from the oven and top the meat with shredded lettuce. Then, place the top buns on top and serve your taco sliders!
How do I store beef taco sliders?
These mini sandwiches taste best when they come fresh out of the oven. But if you have a few extras when your get-together is over, they should be stored in the refrigerator. Cover the leftovers with plastic wrap or transfer them to an airtight container and they’ll stay good for up to 3 days.
You can reheat your sliders in the oven at 350 degrees. Or heat them in the microwave in 30 second intervals until warmed through. It’s a good idea to remove the lettuce when reheating to keep it from getting wilted.
