With only three gluten free ingredients, this easy dessert couldn’t get much simpler. That means you kids can get in on the action! Keep reading to see how your little ones can help make these adorable Peeps kabobs.
And after your kids are finished putting these together, they won’t be able to wait to eat them! They’re made with marshmallows, after all. And what kid can resist cute bunny-shaped marshmallows? I know mine can’t!

An Adorable Peeps Dessert

To make your own peeps kabobs, you’ll need a few simple ingredients and a couple of supplies. Here’s everything you’ll need to make your own Peeps dessert:
- Large pink marshmallows
- Small bunny marshmallows
- Bunny Peeps
- Kabob sticks
- Oil
- Ribbon

Before you start placing the marshmallows on the kabob sticks, I have a little tip for you — use a little bit of vegetable oil. The inside of the marshmallows are sticky, which means you’ll have a big mess on your hands if you try to slide the marshmallows on the stick without greasing it first.
To grease your kabob sticks, add a little bit of vegetable oil to a paper towel and wipe the paper towel over the stick. Give the oil a minute to soak in, then start adding your marshmallows to the Peeps kabob. Start by placing a large pink marshmallow on the bottom to serve as the base of your Peeps dessert.

Then, add three small bunny marshmallows on top of the pink marshmallow. Repeat this pattern one more time — large pink marshmallow and three small bunny marshmallows — until the stick is almost full.

Add a bunny Peep to the top of the kabob to finish the treat. How cute are these Peeps Easter desserts?

This last step is totally optional, but I love the cute finishing touch it adds to the Peeps dessert. Grab a piece of yellow ribbon and tie a bow to the bottom of the kabob. On top of adding a fun decoration to the Easter treat, it also helps keep the marshmallows from sliding down the kabob stick.
Questions About Making Peeps Kabobs
This easy Easter treat is delicious and simple! But if you have questions as you’re putting them together, I probably have the answer!

Are Peeps gluten free?
Peeps were always my favorite Easter candy, even before I started eating gluten free. So, I was excited to see that my favorite Easter marshmallows are gluten free! I’m pretty sure all varieties of Peeps are gluten free, whether you buy them in bunny or chick form. That’s why I love this adorable gluten free Easter dessert so much!
How do I keep the marshmallows from sticking to the kabob stick?
If you tried sliding the marshmallows onto the stick and they made a big mess, I get it! I did it too! Then I found that if you rub a little bit of vegetable oil over the stick before you add the marshmallows, they won’t stick! Just dab a little bit of oil on a paper towel and rub the towel over the stick to keep the marshmallows from getting stuck as you add them to the kabob.
Where did you get those marshmallows?
I found all these marshmallows at Wal-Mart. You can find the large pink marshmallows and bunny marshmallows in the baking aisle. And the Peeps are found in the seasonal section of the store during the Easter season.
