The best part about these fun baseball snacks is that they’re a no-bake treat, so you don’t have to heat your kitchen up by using the oven during the hot summer months. They’re super simple to make, but also make a big impact. The kids loved the fun baseball design on the top. And the sweet treat was the perfect end to a winning game.

The first step to making these adorable baseball snacks is to make a batch of Rice Krispies treats. I made a little bit bigger batch than the recipe on the box of cereal because I wanted the kids to have big baseballs after their game. I also typically add more marshmallows than the box suggests because I like my treats to be extra gooey!

My recipe for Rice Krispies treats includes eight cups of Rice Krispies, one full bag of mini marshmallows, and a stick of butter. To make the treats, just put the butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for one minute. Stir in the marshmallows until they’re coated with the butter, then place the bowl back in and microwave for another minute. Stir one more time with a butter-coated spatula, then pour in the Rice Krispies. Mix until the cereal and marshmallow mixture are completely combined.

Press the cereal mixture into a parchment-paper lined cookie sheet and allow it to cool for about an hour. You want the mixture to be cool before you cut out your shapes because they will fall apart if the marshmallows aren’t set yet. Once the mixture is cool, use a round cookie or biscuit cutter to cut out round baseball shapes.

After you have cut out your baseball shapes, its time to start dipping them in candy coating. I used vanilla flavored candy coating, but white chocolate would also work well. We’re just not big fans of the flavor of white chocolate in this house. I dipped each treat in the chocolate, then used a spoon to to add some extra candy coating to fill in the empty spaces.

To make the laces, I melted some red candy melts in the microwave according to the directions on the package and poured the melted candy into a plastic baggie. Then, I cut the tip off the bag and piped a curved line on each side of the circle. Wait a few minutes until the candy coating is completely dry and set before moving on to the next step.

I finished the baseball snacks by adding the horizontal laces. I just piped three shorter lines across the top of the longer vertical lines on each side of the treat. And that’s it! Pretty simple, right?
