Making a delicious gluten free strawberry cheesecake is difficult because it’s hard to replicate a cheesecake crust with gluten free ingredients. Most gluten free graham cracker options just don’t taste the same as a traditional graham crackers, which means making a good gluten free graham cracker crust just won’t work.
My favorite way to make gluten free cheesecake is to leave out the crust altogether. And when you don’t need a crust for your cheesecake, you can put them in adorable jars and turn them into cheesecake in a jar!

Gluten Free Strawberry Cheesecake Recipe
To make this gluten free strawberry cheesecake recipe, you’ll need two components: the gluten free cheesecake filling and a simple strawberry topping. This easy recipe is made of a no-bake cheesecake filling and delicious fresh strawberries.
To make this easy gluten free strawberry cheesecake in a jar, you’ll need:
- Cream cheese
- Powdered sugar
- Whipped topping
- Vanilla
- Fresh strawberries
- Sugar

This easy no bake cheesecake recipe starts with softened cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar together until the ingredients are well combined. To prevent lumps in your cheesecake filling, it’s a good idea to sift the powdered sugar before adding it to the bowl to help keep the gluten free cheesecake smooth.

When the cream cheese mixture is smooth, add the whipped topping. I used Cool Whip for this recipe, but you can use any whipped topping you want! You can even make your own whipped cream to add to the cream cheese mixture if you feel like getting fancy. The key to getting nice, fluffy cheesecake in a jar is to fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture so you don’t overbeat the topping and cause it to separate.

Now that you have a delicious no bake cheesecake mixture, it’s time to turn it into delicious single-serving desserts! Spoon or pipe the cream cheese mixture into your jars. This recipe makes four half-pint jars. As you’re adding the filling into the jars, make sure to leave room on the top for your strawberry topping.
When each of your jars is filled, place the lid on the jars and put the gluten free cheesecakes in the fridge to chill for around four hours. This will help firm up the no bake cheesecake giving it a nice, creamy texture.
Strawberry Cheesecake in a Jar

After your gluten free cheesecake has set, it’s time to make the strawberry topping. And you won’t believe how simple it is to make! All you need to whip up the topping for your gluten free strawberry cheesecake is fresh strawberries and sugar.
Cut your strawberries into small chunks and sprinkle the sugar over the top. Stir the strawberries to coat them in sugar and let the mixture rest for five to 10 minutes. Then, remove your cheesecake in a jar from the refrigerator and take off the lids. Top each cheesecake with the strawberry mixture. After that, they’re ready to serve!

How long will these stay good for in the fridge?
If you store them without the strawberries on top, they’ll stay good for up to a week. Make sure to keep the lids on the jar! The strawberries will get soft and squishy pretty quickly, so if you store them with the strawberries on top, they should be eaten within a couple of days.
