MASON JAR

Mason jars Chalk paint Sanding block Jute twine Buffalo check ribbon Hot glue gun

Supplies

Paint the mason jars with chalk paint with at least two coats of paint.

When the paint has dried, use the sanding block to distress the jars around the raised areas, like the label .

Fold the twine in half and glue the center to the back of the jar. Twist the twine around the jar until you reach the end of the twine, then tie the ends together with a bow.

Wrap ribbon around the top of the jar, securing the ends in place with glue.  Wrap one piece of twine around the top of the ribbon and another piece of twine around the bottom of the ribbon, securing it in the back of the jar with glue.

Add soil and succulents to the jar to use it as a planter.
