Since we’re still in renovation mode, I focused most of my farmhouse Christmas decorations in the living room this year. Since the mantle is the centerpiece of the room, let’s start with that!
I started a vintage Santa collection a couple years ago and I’m slowly adding new vintage Santas to my farmhouse Christmas decorations. I love these plastic ones — I think they’re my favorite to collect!
We have knit stockings hung on our mantle this year, each with our initial. I hung them using cast iron stocking hooks.
Here’s another cute vintage Santa I have as part of my farmhouse Christmas decorations. This one is plaster and plays a cute Christmas song when you turn him.
I fell in love with this sign when I found it at Hobby Lobby. I knew it would be perfect to add to my farmhouse Christmas decorations
I love adding fun pillows to my farmhouse Christmas decorations. It’s a great way to add some festive decor to the furniture without completely transforming the chair.
I also love tobacco baskets! You probably remember this wreath from my DIY fall wreath tutorial. See how simple it is to adjust it for a new season?
Here’s another one of my fun DIY farmhouse Christmas decorations. If you like this rustic Christmas ornament tree sign, head over to the tutorial post here.
Here’s my Christmas tree. One thing you can’t see in this picture is that fact that there’s no ornaments on the boot foot of the tree. I have a toddler in the house right now — no more explanation needed, right?
I kept my outdoor farmhouse Christmas decorations simple. I used a vintage sleigh I found at a flea market on one side of the door to add some height to the display.
On the other side of the door, I put my tree on top of a vintage milking stool and added this vintage style tin snowman sign.
To finish my farmhouse Christmas decorations outside, I added a wreath to teach window. The wreaths have simple burlap bows with some red berry sprigs to add a little color to the display. I used Command hooks to hang them on the windows.
